Kazakhstani Embroidery Revitalizes Heritage Designs
In Kazakhstan, a group of artisans are working to preserve traditional embroidery techniques. With support from local authorities, they have established a workshop to teach young people the intricate stitches and patterns that have been passed down through generations. The project aims to promote cultural heritage and provide employment opportunities.
Since its inception, the workshop has trained over 50 students and produced hundreds of embroidered items, including clothing, accessories, and home decor.
