Kazakhstani Embroidery Revives Ancient Designs

In rural Kazakhstan, artisans are preserving traditional embroidery techniques. With intricate patterns and vibrant colors, their work is gaining international recognition. Local designer, Aigerim Kaliyeva, has partnered with the government to establish training programs, boosting the local economy. This initiative has created over 50 jobs and generated $200,000 in revenue since its inception in 2020.
