Kintsugi Revival Inspires Modern Artists

The ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi has gained popularity worldwide. This unique technique of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver lacquer has inspired modern artists. For instance, British artist Rachel Thatcher has created a series of Kintsugi-inspired sculptures.

With over 10,000 attendees, her exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Art was a huge success.
